On the eve of a mighty winter storm I went in search
of the lions of winter.
I knew exactly where to look.
The Anna Templeton Centre on Duckworth street is the former
home of the Newfoundland Saving Bank. The family of the bank manager
lived in the upper floors of the building back in the day.
There are three lion heads on the front of the building and one
mighty lion stain glass window on the side.
